We are looking for a diligent Order Picker to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This position is critical to our Logistics operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will work closely with inventory management systems to locate items and ensure correct quantities are selected. Attention to detail and a methodical approach are essential to minimize errors. We foster a strong culture of Safety , and all employees are required to adhere to safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE , such as safety shoes and gloves. The role involves significant physical activity, including walking, standing for extended periods, and moderate Lifting . Maintaining a clean and organized work area is also a key responsibility. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, and has a knack for organization. Experience with RF scanners is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order lists.
- Use RF scanners and other technology to track inventory.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items carefully for shipment.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping area.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking area.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
