We are seeking a strong and experienced Material Handler to join our large-scale logistics operations in Los Angeles, California. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse facility. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, operating material handling equipment (such as forklifts, pallet jacks), and ensuring that inventory is organized and accessible. This role is vital to the smooth functioning of our supply chain and requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with other warehouse staff and management to ensure timely and accurate handling of all goods. A strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and efficient material flow is essential. We require strict adherence to all safety regulations and the mandatory use of appropriate PPE at all times. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting of items up to 70 lbs. Experience with various types of material handling equipment is highly preferred. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Move, stack, and arrange materials within the warehouse according to established procedures.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper handling and movement of goods.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Perform tasks involving significant lifting of up to 70 lbs.
- Support all logistics and operational needs of the warehouse.
