We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your primary focus will be on ensuring accurate inventory management and timely movement of goods within our warehouse facility. This position is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of our logistics operations and requires a high level of attention to detail and precision. You will be expected to operate the reach truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations. This includes performing pre-operation checks on the equipment to ensure it is in good working order, and reporting any malfunctions immediately. The role also involves assisting with physical inventory counts and cycle counts, contributing to the overall accuracy of our warehouse management system. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so the ability to work efficiently and manage your time effectively is essential. Proper use of PPE is mandatory at all times while operating equipment and working on the warehouse floor. This role involves frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Pick and stage orders accurately.
- Perform regular equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure operational efficiency.
- Safely handle and move products, requiring occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
