We are seeking a diligent Shipping & Receiving Associate to manage the flow of goods into and out of our Orlando, Florida warehouse. This integral role ensures that all incoming shipments are accurately received, documented, and put away, and that outgoing shipments are correctly picked, packed, and dispatched. You will be responsible for operating forklifts and pallet jacks, managing inventory levels, and maintaining clear and organized receiving and shipping docks. A strong understanding of logistics, warehouse operations, and safety procedures is essential. The ideal candidate is organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Stock received inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders accurately.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Keep receiving and shipping areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Perform frequent Lifting of materials up to 60 lbs.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse functions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and logistics principles.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including frequent Lifting.
