Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers with precision.
- Conduct daily inspections and ensure forklift equipment is in good working order.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and update system records.
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and comply with PPE requirements.
- Assist with other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 3 years of forklift operation experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 70 pounds.
- Thorough knowledge of warehouse safety best practices.
- Exceptional hand-eye coordination and situational awareness.
- Must be able to work flexible hours if needed.
