Are you an experienced Reach Truck Operator? We have an exciting opportunity for you in Baltimore, Maryland! This role is crucial for the efficiency of our warehouse operations and the overall success of our logistics. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will expertly navigate our facility, moving and organizing inventory at various heights. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the reach truck, loading and unloading materials, and stocking products in racking systems. Accuracy in placement and quantity is paramount. You will also assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including picking, packing, and order fulfillment, to support the broader logistics team. A strong commitment to safety is essential; you must adhere to all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operating procedures. This position requires excellent control, spatial awareness, and the ability to work at heights. We value reliability, precision, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move and store inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trailers and storage areas.
- Place products into racking systems at appropriate heights.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of the reach truck and report any issues.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and staging as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper system usage.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including PPE requirements.
- Collaborate with other team members to support logistics operations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
