Our Seattle, Washington warehouse is looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient movement and organization of goods within our facility. This position is a cornerstone of our logistics operations, ensuring products are handled correctly from arrival to dispatch. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to transport, stack, and retrieve inventory. You will also be involved in picking and packing customer orders, loading and unloading delivery vehicles, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, requiring adherence to all company policies, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper lifting techniques. This role demands physical stamina, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks. You will collaborate with team members across different departments to optimize workflow and contribute to overall warehouse efficiency. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, motivated, and committed to exceeding expectations in the logistics sector. Prior experience with material handling equipment is highly advantageous. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and containers.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling and storage.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Strictly follow all safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform manual lifting tasks as required, potentially up to 50 lbs.
- Support the logistics team in achieving daily operational goals.
- Conduct regular equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
