We are seeking dedicated and efficient Picker/Packers to join our dynamic warehouse team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibilities will include picking items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets, accurately packing items into appropriate shipping containers, and preparing them for dispatch. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to all warehouse safety protocols, and performing cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and correct delivery to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to provided lists and specifications.
- Verify product information and quantities before packing to minimize errors.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Ensure all packages are correctly labeled and staged for shipment.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to maintaining an organized and clean warehouse environment.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counting.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment goals.
- Report any damages or discrepancies to supervisors immediately.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement in workflow and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the importance of PPE in a warehouse setting.
