Join our expanding operations as an Order Picker in Huntsville, Alabama. In this key role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and speed will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our logistics process. You will utilize RF scanners and other equipment to locate and pick items, ensuring accuracy in every order. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists or RF scanner instructions.
- Verify product information and quantities before and after picking.
- Package picked items securely and prepare them for shipment.
- Maintain organized work areas and ensure aisles are clear.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment as needed.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock put-away.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Meet established picking productivity standards.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or equipment promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is advantageous.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse flow.
- Commitment to workplace safety and using all required PPE.
