Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Organize and replenish inventory within the distribution center.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct quality checks on products and packaging.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily production and shipping goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Willingness to learn and operate different types of warehouse machinery.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
