We are seeking dedicated and efficient Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders by picking items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This role is crucial to our distribution center's success, ensuring that our customers receive their products on time and in excellent condition. Your attention to detail and speed will directly impact our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using an order sheet or scanner.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Proficient in basic math and reading comprehension.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Team player with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
