Join our St. Louis, Missouri team as an Order Picker! We are seeking motivated individuals to play a vital role in our logistics operations. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and efficiency directly impact our customer satisfaction. This role involves navigating the warehouse, identifying products, and ensuring correct quantities are picked. Safety is paramount in our operations, and you will be required to adhere to all safety regulations and utilize the necessary PPE. The position requires the ability to perform frequent lifting and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. If you are detail-oriented and a reliable team player, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Read and understand pick lists or utilize scanning technology to identify required items.
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse locations accurately.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to the designated packing or shipping area.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other equipment safely to move inventory.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency.
- Follow all company safety protocols and wear required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Report any issues, such as damaged goods or incorrect stock, to the supervisor.
- Assist with putting away received inventory and replenishing picking locations.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and inventory procedures.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
