Our San Francisco, California location is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our vibrant team. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our logistics hub, involving a variety of tasks that keep our warehouse running smoothly. You will be responsible for receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. A strong commitment to safety, adherence to operational procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential. This position requires physical stamina, including regular lifting, and the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Stock shelves and storage locations with incoming inventory using appropriate equipment.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stocktaking procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment throughout the warehouse.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.
- Identify and report any operational issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to management.
- Assist with loading outbound shipments and verifying order accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to operate various warehouse equipment safely.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and the correct use of PPE.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
- A proactive approach to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
