We are seeking enthusiastic Distribution Center Associates for our expanding logistics hub in Dallas, Texas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities that keep our distribution center running smoothly, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Your attention to detail and commitment to efficiency are vital for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations. Safety is our top priority, and all associates are required to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to maintain a secure workplace. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Stock and organize inventory within the distribution center.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required for some equipment).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety standards, including the consistent use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management processes.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Capability for regular heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow directions.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Previous distribution center or logistics experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety practices and the importance of PPE.
