Our Detroit, Michigan warehouse is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our essential logistics team. This role is key to the smooth operation of our facility, involving a variety of tasks such as receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. We prioritize a safe and productive work environment, emphasizing teamwork and operational efficiency. The position requires physical stamina, including regular lifting of goods, and a steadfast commitment to following all safety procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Your dedication will ensure that our products are handled efficiently and accurately, contributing significantly to our supply chain and customer service goals. Responsibilities:
- Accepting, checking, and storing incoming stock.
- Accurately picking items for customer orders.
- Packing orders securely for shipment.
- Assisting with loading and unloading of merchandise.
- Maintaining tidiness and order in the warehouse space.
- Participating in inventory counts and cycle checks.
- Strictly following all safety guidelines, including proper PPE and safe lifting methods.
- Supporting other warehouse functions as part of our logistics team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is advantageous.
- Capacity to handle lifting duties up to 50 lbs.
- Awareness of warehouse safety protocols and the necessity of PPE.
- Strong focus on detail and task completion.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Dependability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles.
