Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff in daily operations.
- Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment processes.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits and system updates.
- Monitor and enforce all safety regulations, including PPE usage and safe lifting practices.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
- Manage and coordinate the logistics of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to promoting a strong safety culture, including proper PPE and safe lifting.
- Problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented approach.
