We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for picking items from warehouse shelves, accurately scanning and packing them for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders from warehouse inventory.
- Scan items using RF scanners to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Verify order details against shipping labels.
- Package items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper PPE usage.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Perform tasks involving lifting, sorting, and organizing products.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and PPE.
