You will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, storing, and organizing materials within the facility using various equipment. Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from receiving, storage, and shipping areas.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Ensure all materials are handled and stored safely and securely.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all company policies and safety regulations related to logistics and material handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Forklift operation experience and certification is a significant advantage.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
