We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators for our St. Louis, Missouri facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials and products within our warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move palletized loads, raw materials, and finished goods.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Transport materials to and from production areas, storage locations, and shipping docks.
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts before and after operation, documenting any issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all warehouse housekeeping standards.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary for material handling support.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment with speed and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to operate various types of forklifts.
- Commitment to safety and the correct use of required PPE is mandatory.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours if needed.
