Our Salt Lake City, Utah facility is looking for diligent Picker/Packers to join our team. This role is key to our logistics success, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will be instrumental in preparing products for shipment, contributing directly to our customer satisfaction goals.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Pack products safely and securely, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Conduct quality checks on items and packaged goods.
- Apply shipping labels and complete necessary documentation.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all logistics best practices.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Achieve individual and team performance goals for picking and packing speed and accuracy.
- Handle tasks that involve lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, e-commerce, or logistics setting is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand order details and product information.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, and perform repetitive lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Willingness to adhere to strict safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
