*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
* Develop and implement tailored therapy programs aligned with individual needs and goals
* Collaborate with educators, healthcare providers, families, and caregivers to coordinate care plans
* Provide direct speech therapy services to pediatric populations in school or clinical settings
* Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
* Educate patients and their families on techniques to support ongoing communication development
* Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards
*Experience*
* Prior school experience working with children in educational settings is highly preferred
* Demonstrated expertise in pediatrics and early intervention programs
* Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques across various communication disorders
* Familiarity with physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology
* Proven ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans
* Passion for patient care with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
* Knowledge of current best practices in speech therapy and early childhood development

*Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)*
* Evaluation report completion within required timelines.
* SOAP note completion timeliness and quality.
* Billing accuracy and weekly invoice submission.
* Attendance documentation and compliance (no-show/late cancellations).
* Caregiver education and home-program carryover implementation.
* Interdisciplinary coordination participation (including OT co-treatments when appropriate).
* Responsiveness to email/Signal communication.
*Qualifications*
* Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
* Current New Mexico SLP license required.
* ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (or eligibility pathway for CF-SLP).
* Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Experience with AAC, pediatric language disorders, and caregiver coaching preferred.
Pay: $75.00 - $78.00 per hour
