Civil Foreman

JOB SUMMARY:

A Civil Foreman is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the companys projects which includes managing schedules, vendors, subcontractors, labor, equipment, and personnel. The foreman ensures the project is complete within timelines and budget, with adherence to the companys quality and safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Lead and manage civil crews to achieve production goals.
• Inspect and oversee placement of materials to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Operate and coordinate the use of equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints for grading tasks.
• Delegate tasks and schedule team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Coordinate the delivery of equipment and materials.
• Manage daily timekeeping, cost coding, and equipment logs.
• Promote and enforce safety regulations according to site-specific plans and governing authorities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 - 2 years' experience in Civil Operations
• Valid Drivers license
• Proficient in Outlook
• Ability to adapt and work in extreme weather temperatures.
• Competent in reading, understanding, and organizing construction specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The ability to work independently under pressure while exercising excellent judgement and meeting established deadlines
