Clamp Forklift Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Clamp Forklift Operator to join our 3PL warehouse team. The position involves operating a clamp forklift to safely handle palletized and non-palletized goods, particularly large or fragile items such as clothing cartons, appliances, or soft goods. This role also includes manual unloading and loading of freight as needed, so flexibility and physical stamina are important.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a clamp forklift safely and efficiently to move, stack, load, or unload products
• Handle goods such as boxed clothing, textiles, and other soft goods without damaging inventory
• Assist with manual loading/unloading of containers and trucks as needed
• Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any issues to maintenance
• Stage pallets and product according to shipping or storage requirements
• Maintain proper documentation for incoming and outgoing loads
• Support general warehouse tasks when not on forklift (e.g., labeling, sorting, organizing)
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols
• Work with team leads and supervisors to meet productivity and accuracy goals

Requirements:

• Valid Clamp Forklift Certification (or willingness to get certified through company training)
• 1+ year of experience operating clamp forklifts in a warehouse setting (3PL preferred)
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and assist with manual material handling
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail to avoid product damage and ensure accurate handling
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends during peak periods

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced warehouse with exposure to varying temperatures
• Standing, lifting, and bending required throughout shift
• May involve repetitive lifting or handling of soft goods
• PPE and safety gear provided as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour
