Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Sushi Line team member to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling high-quality sushi dishes with precision and care, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh sushi ingredients, including fish, rice, vegetables, and other accompaniments, following established recipes and safety standards
• Assemble sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and other Japanese delicacies with precision and artistic flair
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and presentation ideas
• Handle food preparation tasks efficiently during peak service times to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination
• Support the kitchen team in maintaining inventory levels of ingredients and supplies

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service—especially in fine dining or sushi environments—is highly desirable
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques relevant to sushi making
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
• Open availability (Weekends are a must; these are the busiest days)
• Prior experience in catering or the food industry is a plus, but not mandatory
• Reliable Transportation
• Server safe certificate (or willing to get one in a few days)
• English and Spanish speaking is preferred
