Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
• Handle waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently to uphold environmental standards
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine
• Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to facilities management
• Use industrial cleaning tools for deep cleaning projects as needed for both commercial and residential spaces
• Follow safety protocols consistently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and general sanitation practices
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work standards
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, and moving heavy objects
• Basic understanding of facilities maintenance procedures is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
