Dental Practice Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical office management and possess exceptional leadership skills. This role is crucial in ensuring that our practice runs smoothly, providing high-quality patient care while maintaining efficient administrative processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of the dental practice, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Oversee fiscal management, including budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation.
• Supervise staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Implement and maintain effective office management procedures to enhance patient flow and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure optimal patient care and clinic efficiency.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks for effective practice management.
• Manage human resources functions, including staff scheduling and conflict resolution.
• Ensure proper utilization management and compliance with JCAHO standards.

Skills

• Proven experience in medical office management or dental clinic experience.
• Strong fiscal management skills with a focus on budgeting and financial oversight.
• Supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, records management, and healthcare regulations.
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems; experience with Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic is preferred.
• Knowledge of managed care processes and acute care environments is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
