Job Summary
The Front Desk Supervisor is a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless guest experience at our full-service hotel. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk, managing a team of receptionists, and ensuring that every guest receives a warm welcome and exceptional service. The Front Desk Supervisor will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle challenging situations with poise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the front desk team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate front desk staff to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing transactions.
- Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and address any guest needs.
- Implement and uphold hotel policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Handle guest disputes and issues with diplomacy and tact, escalating to management when necessary.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
