Box Truck Driver

Duties

• Safely operate box trucks to transport goods to various locations along assigned routes
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts,lift gate ,pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and secure placement
• Deliver products directly to customers' locations, providing friendly and professional customer service throughout each interaction
• Maintain truck clean.
• NO SMOKING on shift or in the truck of any substances (cigarettes,weed,vape…)
• Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
• Able to navigate through a phone app( self check, GPS)
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly to management team
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery receipts for record-keeping purposes
• Assist in warehouse activities such as inventory management, stock movement, and preparing shipments for dispatch

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred
• Proven delivery driver experience with a strong focus on route driving and customer service excellence
• Being able to punctual (a must)
• DOT medical card
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to loading, unloading, moving cargo, or warehouse duties
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus; certification is advantageous
• Experience with manual transmission vehicles (Not obligatory )and knowledge of safe driving practices in various conditions
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow detailed routes and instructions accurately
• Able to navigate through phone app( self check, GPS)
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
