Mechanical Engineer

Econoco is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design and develop custom retail fixtures and display systems from initial concept through final production. This role requires strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative, cost-effective retail solutions to life.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Engineering & Design

• Engineer and detail custom retail fixtures and display systems from concept through production.
• Create accurate 3D CAD models using the latest SolidWorks software.
• Produce detailed fabrication drawings for metal, wood, and mixed-material assemblies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with design, project management, and procurement teams to ensure design intent, functionality, and cost efficiency.
• Develop complete BOMs, hardware specifications, and clear assembly instructions.

Manufacturability & Quality

• Review, analyze, and refine designs for manufacturability, ensuring products can be efficiently and accurately produced.
• Collaborate directly with vendors and manufacturing partners to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Prototyping & Validation

• Support the development of prototypes, providing engineering expertise during shop fabrication.
• Participate in prototype evaluations and final reviews, making recommendations for improvements and production readiness.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $35.50 per hour
