Our client is an AI-driven learning platform helping individuals and organizations gain the most in demand skills and apply them in real-world scenarios.
The team is a cross-functional group with over 20 years of combined experience in education, product, engineering, and machine learning, having previously worked at companies such as Coursera, Google, Robinhood, Meta, Teach for America, Stanford, Snowflake, and Palantir.
This is an opportunity to join a founding engineering team and have a major impact on shaping the product from the ground up, defining the next generation of online education.
Responsibilities
- Build new user-facing features and design foundational elements of the education platform and learner interface.
- Work with cutting-edge AI and LLM technologies on projects such as AI tutors and AI augmented course creation.
- Own features end-to-end across various product domains, including payments, student portal, live sessions, chat and community, analytics, and developer tools.
- Continuously improve processes by applying learnings from past projects to future initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, customer success managers, and sales teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Background & Skills
- Experience working at a high-growth startup.
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience.
- Proficiency in full stack development across both frontend and backend.
- Experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Python, or Java.
- AI/ML product experience is a plus.
- Expertise in the full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Strong communication skills for working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
