Pool Cleaner/Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pool Cleaner/Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of swimming pools, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, hands-on experience with pool systems, and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.

Duties

• Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets
• Conduct regular water testing and chemical balancing to ensure optimal pool conditions
• Inspect and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues using hand tools and power tools
• Identify potential mechanical problems and perform necessary repairs or recommend replacements
• Maintain detailed service records of all work performed
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance activities
• Assist with seasonal opening and closing of pools as needed

Requirements

• Prior experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance preferred
• Mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment and systems
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Experience with equipment repair and troubleshooting techniques
• Knowledge of pool cleaning procedures and chemical balancing
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $29.27 per hour
