Position: Endodontic Dental Assistant / Front Office Support
This is a dual-role position. You'll primarily assist chairside during endodontic procedures, but you will also provide front office support as needed (phone calls, scheduling, patient check-in/out, verifying insurance, etc.).
ResponsibilitiesClinical (Back Office)
- Assist the endodontist during nonsurgical and surgical root canal procedures
- Set up and break down operatories
- Capture digital radiographs and CBCT imaging
- Maintain strict sterilization standards and infection control protocols
- Take digital notes and update patient charts
- Manage inventory and maintain supply levels
- Provide clear pre-op and post-op instructions to patients
- Housekeeping duties as needed
- Additional duties as assigned (i.e. OSHA, HIPAA, waterline testing)
Front Office (Occasional)
- Answer phones and schedule patients
- Greet and check patients in/out
- Verify insurance benefits and collect co-pays
- Manage records, referrals, and patient communication
- Support smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant Certification (preferred but not required if experienced)
- Endodontic experience preferred , but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt between clinical and front office duties
- Comfort with computers and digital systems (we will train on our software)
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
