Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, HVAC, basic carpentry, food & beverage equipment, fueling equipment and other site and building systems.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance and repairs that do not require a specialized technician - examples may include HVAC filter changes, light bulb replacement, beverage equipment and product line repairs, fuel nozzle/hose/filter replacement, replacing ceiling tiles, drywall repairs, painting and other building fixtures
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems
• Fabricates and repairs shelving, fencing, trim and other wooden structures
• Inspects, tests and repairs c-store equipment which includes determining and resolving the cause of malfunction
• Provides troubleshooting of equipment by inspecting and diagnosing possible cause using equipment manuals as needed
• Dismantles equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts when required
• Starts equipment to test their performance
• Performs all repairs safely, effectively and efficiently
• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities
• Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
• Contacts Field Maintenance Manager when problems require outside contractor assistance
• Utilize technology solutions to update work order status, parts used, etc.
• On-call after hours and weekends emergency maintenance
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements
Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
• Able to work in warm or cool environments – warehouse, coolers and outdoors
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
• Able to drive a forklift, preferred but not required
• Able to drive a company vehicle
