Operational Technology System Administrator

MEGlobal Americas Inc. is seeking a qualified Network (Operational Technology) System Administrator to join our team at our Oyster Creek, TX site.

This role acts as owner of the Operational Technology (OT) networks across North America.

You will join an open, connected, and international team of technical specialists that ensures our networks and systems are appropriately administered, secured, and maintained to ensure safe and reliable facility operations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain OT network servers, switches, and firewalls
• Lead technical execution of network projects, including design, configuration, testing, installation, commissioning, and start-up
• Ensure network integrity through performance monitoring and preventative maintenance
• Identify, develop, implement and manage operating discipline and projects to sustain and improve system security and reliability
• Participate and/or lead North American network, systems and cybersecurity team
• Recommend and maintain vendor support contract strategy
• Provide expertise in development of long-term lifecycle strategy
• Manage and deploy security patches software, and firmware upgrades
• Ensure that site infrastructure meets cyber security, operational and functional requirements
• Respond to issues and provide day to day network health monitoring, troubleshooting and optimization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 3-5 years or more experience in network design and support
• Proven working experience in Microsoft server environment
• Experience with layer 2 and 3 switching and firewall management (CCNA desired)
• Experience with virtual environments preferred (i.e. VMware vSphere)
• Demonstrated skills with process control networks (i.e. Honeywell Experion, Emerson DeltaV, ABB Industrial IT)
• Self-motivation and high initiative
• Experience in operating plant environment
• Excellent influencing and communication skills
• Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams and interact with all levels of the organization
• Commitment to EH&S

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
