Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Landscape Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on landscaping experience, and the ability to manage a crew while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Requirements:

• Must have valid driver's license
• Must have clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisor or management role
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscaping or groundskeeping
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor in all weather conditions

Job Description:

• Supervise and manage an 8-14 man crew
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Conduct toolbox safety meetings with the crew
• Ensure all crew members follow proper safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Ensure that all work is completed according to safety standards and company guidelines
• Training new employees on job specific tasks and company standards
• Track time and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Diagnosing and perform minor repairs on equipment as needed.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools, such as tractors, excavators, and zero turn mowers.
• Perform a variety of landscaping tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, planting flowers, laying much, and weeding
• Perform irrigation repairs and troubleshoot issues
• Assist the manager with additional tasks as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70, $75,000.00 per year
