Full Time Janitorial Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full Time Janitorial Supervisor to oversee evening and weekend cleaning operations across our facilities. This leadership role is vital in ensuring our environment remains spotless, safe, and welcoming for staff, visitors, and clients alike. As a supervisor, you will coordinate cleaning teams, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and ensure all janitorial tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Your proactive approach will help foster a clean, healthy, and professional workspace that reflects our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff during evening and weekend shifts to ensure timely completion of cleaning duties
• Assign daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restocking supplies
• Oversee specialized cleaning procedures including floor care, buffing, industrial cleaning, and custodial maintenance
• Conduct quality inspections to verify cleanliness standards are met across all areas of the facility
• Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment use
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations
• Address any maintenance or custodial issues promptly to uphold a safe and sanitary environment

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning practices
• Prior supervisory or porter experience in a facilities maintenance setting
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing; experience with industrial cleaning is a plus
• Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in completing assigned duties
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and management effectively
• Must have reliable transportation as this position requires travel in between locations in Southeast Texas. Mileage is reimbursed.
