Restaurant Host/Hostess

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Restaurant Host/Hostess to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will manage reservations, greet guests, and ensure smooth seating arrangements, contributing to an exceptional dining experience.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently.
• Answer phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette and provide accurate information about the restaurant
• Maintain guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Keep the host stand organized and presentable at all times
• Assist with guest services, including accommodating special requests and providing menus
• Support hospitality efforts by creating a positive first impression for all guests

Skills

• Prior experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Previous restaurant experience, including guest services and serving, is advantageous
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
