- Maintain accurate and organized patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
- Provide administrative support by managing phone calls, emails, and documentation related to patient care
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate communication and ensure timely delivery of services
- Educate patients on treatment procedures, medication instructions, and available resources to promote understanding and adherence
- Monitor patient progress and follow up on outstanding needs or concerns to enhance overall care quality
Requirements
- Proven experience in a medical office environment or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in medical administrative support tools such as electronic health records (EHR) systems and office software
- Prior experience working in a dental or general medical office is highly desirable
- Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse patient populations
- Knowledge of medical office protocols and compliance standards
