You will serve as the strategist, the mentor, the driving force behind our Guides – the frontline facilitators who don't simply instruct, but motivate. What You Will Be Doing
- Leading the training and development of a Guide team to execute the Alpha learning system with exceptional quality
- Building comprehensive Guide Playbooks that outline facilitation best practices, designing engaging learning activities, and addressing obstacles
- Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides to enhance student participation and performance
- Personally coaching a small student cohort, demonstrating advanced mentoring and motivational techniques
What You Won't Be Doing
- Creating lesson plans – your Guides support student learning through adaptive applications; your role centers on developing them into outstanding facilitators
- Compromising standards – when our passing threshold is 100%, maintaining that expectation is your responsibility
- Conducting dull training – you'll develop Guides through dynamic, energetic, experiential learning
Learning And Development Manager Key Responsibilities
Lead the training and development of a Guide team to execute the Alpha system with exceptional quality.
Basic Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a comparable field.
- Proven experience creating and implementing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives.
- Robust leadership and mentorship capabilities with the ability to build, manage, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Experience engaging with youth (ages 5-18) in an educational or developmental setting.
- Competence in data analysis and leveraging metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Availability to work on-site in Atlanta, GA; Las Vegas, NV; Nashville, TN; Park City (Salt Lake City), UT; or Spotswood, NJ.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The
