Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and skilled Electricians to join our dynamic team In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment on construction sites and industrial facilities.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical installations and repairs.
- Test electrical systems using instruments such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and voltmeters to ensure proper functionality.
- Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for all wiring practices and safety protocols.
- Work closely with construction teams including frame carpenters and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
- Conduct inspections of low voltage and high voltage systems to maintain safety and operational standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, schematics updates, and maintenance logs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician in commercial or residential settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage and high voltage wiring installations.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Familiarity with NEC standards, construction site safety protocols, and the use of testing instruments such as ohmmeters and ammeters.
- Ability to operate hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers) as well as power tools safely.
- Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of framing carpentry is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across different trades.
- Valid electrician's license or certification as required by local regulations; additional certifications in low or high voltage systems are advantageous.
