Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Expediter, Garde Manger at Silver Girl, located in Acton, MA. The Expediter will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of dishes between the kitchen and front-of-house, preparing and finishing appetizers, salads, and desserts, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. Coordination of plating with precision and ensuring food presentation meets established standards will be essential. Additionally, collaboration with the kitchen and service teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences is a key part of this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation techniques, including cold dishes, salads, and garnishes
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage plating and expediter responsibilities
• Attention to detail with a focus on food presentation and quality
• Skills in effective communication and collaborating in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• An understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Prior experience in a restaurant or similar food service environment is preferred
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
