Part-Time Maintenance Assistant/Handyman & Courier Driver 

We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant & Courier Driver to support our multi-location medical practice for approximately 25+ hours per week. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule, with fixed courier days and flexible hours for maintenance tasks. Due to the nature of our work, early morning shifts starting at 6:00 AM may occasionally be required. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as travel between our four locations is necessary.

Responsibilities:

· Perform garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, snow removal and ensuring the exterior of our building is clean and tidy

· Minor plumbing and electrical repairs as needed

· Painting

· Basic carpentry

· Working knowledge of tools

· Reports to maintenance manager for all issues

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Courier driver using company van (currently Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays 8:00am-12:00pm)

· Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinic.
• Frequent in person and telephone contact with patients. Work may be demanding and fast paced at times, interaction with others is constant and interruptions may occur.
