Remote Dental Patient Scheduling Assistant

Schedule: Weekends preferred + optional weekday after-hours (see below)

About the Role:

We are a growing, high-tech dental practice seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Patient Scheduling Coordinator to assist with contacting leads from social media and following up with existing patients in our system. This position is remote but limited to candidates who reside in Texas, with preference for those near Houston, Katy, Sugar Land, or Cypress for occasional in-office training or collaboration.

You'll work directly with our team to:

• Call, text, and email potential new patients who inquire via Facebook or other lead sources
• Follow up with current patients who have missed appointments or paused treatment
• Use our VoIP app (RingCentral) and dental CRM (OpenDental) to manage communications
• Schedule appointments and update the system with contact attempts and outcomes
• Confirm and remind patients of upcoming visits

This is an ideal role for someone with prior experience in a dental or healthcare setting who enjoys patient interaction, is organized, and thrives in a goal-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Call and follow up with patients using RingCentral VoIP app
• Use OpenDental to log communication, schedule visits, and track progress
• Send reminders and confirmations for upcoming appointments
• Prioritize high-value leads (e.g., implants, dentures, full-arch cases)
• Maintain a respectful and professional tone in all patient communication
• Meet weekly KPIs for contacts made, appointments scheduled, and patient follow-through

Preferred Availability:

• Saturday: 10 AM – 6 PM
• Sunday: 10 AM – 6 PM
• Weekdays: Optional shifts from 5 PM – 9 PM

We are open to hiring more than one candidate and can accommodate flexible schedules.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) – required
• Familiarity with OpenDental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar dental EMR – a plus
• Strong phone etiquette and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet performance targets
• Professional and quiet remote work environment

Remote Work Requirements:

• Reside in Texas (required)
• Reliable high-speed internet
• A laptop or desktop computer with a working microphone (no webcam required)
• Google Chrome installed (for secure remote access)
• A quiet, distraction-free workspace (no background noise from household activity)
• Ability to install and use the RingCentral VoIP app

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly pay: Starting $15, based on experience
• Performance bonuses based on patient scheduling and successful follow-through
