Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

We are seeking a Tester to conduct end-to-end testing activities for Smart Meter applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables, compliance with industry standards, and smooth execution of test cycles. The ideal candidate should have Utility Operations domain expertise, ADMS, Smart Meter applications, experience in test planning and execution, defect management, and stakeholder coordination. Additionally, exposure to test automation, including Tosca, is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Execution:

• Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases applications.

• Ensure comprehensive functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing.

• Validate APIs, services, and map layers through manual and automated test cases.

• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure consistent application performance.

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and teams to align testing activities with project requirements.

Defect Management & Quality Assurance:

• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or similar tools.

• Perform root cause analysis and defect triaging, ensuring timely resolution.

• Ensure compliance with QA best practices, testing standards, and utility industry regulations.

• Provide test progress reports and key metrics to stakeholders.

Test Automation & Tosca Exposure:

• Contribute to test automation initiatives where applicable, particularly in API testing and workflow validation.

• Exposure to Tosca or other automation tools for improving test efficiency.

• Support automation efforts for repetitive validation tasks, though manual testing remains the primary focus.

Salary Range: $80,000 $115,000 Year
