Position Summary
A premier family-owned luxury jeweler is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated
Experienced
 
Salesperson
to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, polished, and sales-driven professional who is passionate about building relationships and delivering exceptional client experiences in a luxury retail environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong sales ability, integrity, resilience, and a personable demeanor. Prior jewelry experience is preferred but not required — a true sales professional with the right mindset and drive will thrive with the proper support and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a consultative, relationship-based sales experience to all clients.
  • Sell a wide range of products, from smaller service jobs to high-value custom pieces, with equal enthusiasm and care.
  • Cultivate trust and rapport with clients by asking key discovery questions and matching them with appropriate products.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless client experience; participate in hand-offs and team-based selling when appropriate.
  • Maintain knowledge of products, services, and promotions; participate in ongoing training.
  • Uphold the company's core values of integrity, respect, and likability in all client and team interactions.
  • Actively engage with incoming store traffic and ensure all clients are greeted and assisted.
  • Assist in daily showroom operations, including setup and maintenance.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Proven sales ability with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
  • Resilient and self-motivated, with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
  • Ability to close sales professionally and confidently.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; must be approachable, respectful, and customer focused.
  • Strong integrity and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic retail environment and proactively engage with clients.
  • Some jewelry knowledge is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in fine jewelry retail.
  • Candidates must demonstrate a strong "sales wiring" and innate client-centric mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation:
    $70,000k+ base salary, commensurate with experience, with future commission/incentive structures under review to provide additional earning potential based on sales performance.

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time, on-site position (remote or hybrid work not available)
  • Regular Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday; Sundays and Mondays off
  • Showroom Hours:
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Thursday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Team members are expected to assist with daily store setup and closing procedures to support smooth operations and a collaborative environment.
