Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our front desk team. This position is responsible for providing excellent guest service during overnight hours while accurately completing daily hotel accounting and audit procedures.

The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working independently, and able to balance guest service with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and overnight requests
• Perform nightly audit procedures, including balancing the day's transactions
• Prepare and distribute daily reports
• Handle guest billing, payments, and folio adjustments
• Monitor hotel security and respond to guest needs overnight
• Answer phones, take reservations, and provide local information
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
• Ability to work independently and stay alert overnight
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer skills; PMS experience a plus
• Must be reliable and punctual

Requirements

• Ability to work overnight shifts (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Availability for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Must be at least 18 years old
