Position Overview

Sunrise Clinical Associates is seeking a licensed clinician to serve as an Enhanced Services Team Lead, providing leadership for either our Community Support Team (CST) serving adults or our Intensive In-Home (IIH) team serving children, adolescents, and families.

This role blends direct service, clinical oversight, and team leadership, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and client-centered care across community-based behavioral health services. Final program placement (CST or IIH) will be determined based on candidate experience, licensure, and organizational need.

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Work Location: Community-based / On the road (RDU service area)

Core Responsibilities (Applies to Both CST & IIH)

  • Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and support to assigned Enhanced Services team.
  • Maintain a small caseload and deliver billable services aligned with treatment plans and program standards.
  • Oversee documentation, service delivery, and billing to ensure compliance with Medicaid, state regulations, and agency policies.
  • Facilitate team meetings, case consultations, and performance feedback.
  • Support staff training, onboarding, and professional development.
  • Coordinate scheduling, coverage, and daily operational needs.
  • Collaborate with community partners, referral sources, and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, audits, and program development initiatives.
  • Travel throughout the RDU service area to support staff and client needs.

Program-Specific Focus Areas

Community Support Team (CST – Adults)

  • Deliver and oversee CST services for adults with mental health and/or substance use needs.
  • Support recovery-oriented, person-centered service delivery.
  • Coordinate care with community providers and natural supports.

Intensive In-Home (IIH – Children & Families)

  • Deliver and oversee family-centered, strengths-based interventions for youth and families.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and crisis response as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with families, schools, and community agencies.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
  • Active NC licensure or associate-level licensure (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in CST, IIH, or a comparable community-based behavioral health program.
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and written/verbal communication.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, based on client needs.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
