The Student Life Department is seeking (1) Business Affairs Coordinator to join the already awesome team taking the department to the next level of excellence

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • This position supports all areas of Student Life, with a focus on Student Media areas, to include: WRAS radio station, The Signal newspaper, NeoN video production house, Underground undergrad literary journal, and New South graduate literary journal.

  • Support will also be provided to Student Organization Services, Fraternity & Sorority Life, Spotlight Programs Board, POUNCE Rewards and Panther Welcome programming.

  • The position will focus on providing support for the day-to-day business admin. tasks of Student Media and the overall financial management of the Student Life areas, as directed by the Director, Student Life.

  • This position will work closely with the two Admin. Specialist, Admin. positions in the Student Organizations and Spotlight Programs areas related to business services to help reconcile accounts, coordinate travel and fee based payments for student life areas, and support future budget planning.

Qualifications:

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and two years of business management experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:

Experience in managing five-figure budgets for organizations/departments and intermediate or expert skills with Microsoft Excel.

  • General experience with Adobe products for the purposes of document creation and preparation.
  • Knowledge of office policies and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Must have the ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and activities, make effective use of resources, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision required.
  • Willingness to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to be adaptable, resourceful, and creative in their approaches to unique problems while prioritizing delivery of superior customer service.

Salary : $45,500
