Position location: This is a limited remote role. To be considered, you must reside in Missouri (MO), Kansas (KS), or Oklahoma (OK)
Job Summary:
The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating Agile practices within a development team, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. They act as a servant leader, removing impediments, coaching team members, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality products. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance team autonomy with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies
Coach the team on Agile principles and Scrum practices to improve maturity and performance.
Remove impediments and escalate issues that block progress.
Collaborate with Product Owner to ensure backlog clarity and prioritization.
Partner with vendors to support project implementation and product release
Promote transparency, communication, and alignment across teams and departments.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of learning.
Experience:
- Required: 3 years of SCRUM MASTER experience in an Agile environment
- Preferred: 3 to 5 years of experience in a software factory delivery environment.
- Preferred: 2 years as software developer or QA engineer.
Education:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and project management software, preferably Azure DevOps Boards (ADO).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Work Environment:
This is a limited remote role. To be considered, you must reside in Missouri (MO), Kansas (KS), or Oklahoma (OK).
Travel:
Some travel based on business need may be required.
