Warehouse Picker

Job Summary

Heimark Distributing is looking for Warehouse picker to work in our Indio facility. The warehouse picker's primary responsibility is to pick orders using a voice automated headset and electric pallet jack/walkie rider efficiently and accurately. Must be able to work in fast paced environment. The hours of work a normally 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sunday to Thursday. Overtime as needed.

Location: *Perris, CA (This position will be Perris, CA starting in March 2026, current warehouse location in Indio, CA).

Responsibilities

The position is responsible for the following job functions:

• Accurately pick products by matching numbers and product descriptions using voice audio headset
• Hand stack cases in defined pattern of product weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively from floor to pallet jack/walkie rider throughout the duration of the shift
• Shrink wrap customers' orders and label pallets properly
• A warehouse picker must maintain a minimum standard of 180 cases picked per hour.
• Strive to have no pick errors
• Operate a forklift when needed
• Restock using computerized RF unit.
• Follow all safety procedures and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Must be able to work in fast paced environment
• Pickers must be able to stand for long periods of time, able to bend and reach overhead.
• Must be able to work in multi-temperature environments
• Technology skills a must as the picker will be working with RF Guns and IPADS
• Basic math and analytical skills required
• Safety shoes required
• Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs. and be able to fulfill other physical requirements including: Repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs overhead), bending, pulling/pushing (Push/pull up to 340 pounds)
